Shaun D. Kennedy is the San Antonio Regional Chairman of Texas Capital Bank. He has served on the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Board of
Directors for four years and served for three years as the Chair of the Chamber Operating Council.
Kennedy has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services
industry. His extensive background includes Retail, Trust, Investment
Management and Private Banking.
Active in professional, civic and charitable organizations within his community, Kennedy presently serves as a board member of the Children’s Shelter Foundation, an honorary board member of the San Antonio Children’s Shelter, a board member of the Texas Business Hall of Fame, and a member of the St. Mary’s University Greehey School of Business Advisory Council of Executives. In addition, he is actively involved with the special needs community of San Antonio including: Arc of San Antonio, the Down Syndrome Association of San Antonio, Special Olympics, Eva’s Heroes, and Monarch Academy.
He has served on the board of directors of the Texas Bankers Association,
and he is a member of the Young Presidents Organization/World Presidents
Organization – San Antonio Chapter. Kennedy was selected as a 2003-2004
Leadership San Antonio XXIX participant.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bradley
University as well as an MBA from Illinois State University, and he attended
the University of Virginia Graduate School of Bank Management.
