Amanda Stoel is a Department Analyst at the MDE. She works with educational leaders across the state to explore the effective use of technology to support learning and learners. It is her vision to bring awareness of, remove barriers to, and enhance the use of technology through authentic collaboration.
Amanda administered Michigan’s largest state funded technology grant, the Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant, and continues to support the sustainability and growth of the project beyond the grant. Amanda currently administers the FIRST Robotics, Cybersecurity, and Minecraft: Education Edition grants.
Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Community Development from Central Michigan University.
